The challenge
Governments and organizations need a reliable security protection on their core assets against illegal acts, such as terrorism and criminal activities. In recent years, incidents and terror acts have forced harsh regulations and substantial investments in terms of resources, financial damages, human rights violation and commercial disturbances. These investments need to be assessed and measured in terms of return on investments (R.O.I).
The solution
Quality assurance in security is a vital method to maintain an appropriate level of preparedness to mitigate the risks. Internal control and audit give only partial evaluation of the security preparedness. Therefore, red teaming methodology, completes the third side of the mechanism.
In order to receive a realistic picture of preparedness level ,a method of examining performances is essential.
